Process & Materials
All leather at Sans Map is carefully hand selected and sourced from industry remnants or thoughtfully repurposed from leather garments. Original stitching and seams and natural leather imperfections lend to the unique quality of each Sans Map bag, no two are exactly alike.
By incorporating vintage, reclaimed and repurposed fabrics into our designs and utilizing existing textiles, the need to consume new raw materials is greatly reduced.
New fabrics used by Sans Map are sourced from sustainable, renewable or organic fibers such as hemp, tencel, linen, wool and cotton. We strive to source all new fabrics from ethical manufacturers, those who comply with Fair Trade regulations and fabric mills that are GOTS, IMO and CU certified.
Sans Map continues the thread that links the past with a sustainably conscious future.
